Injection Molding

The injection molding facility incorporates the latest in state-of-the-art equipment including molding machines, robotics, real time production monitoring, centralized raw material drying and handling, finished goods conveying, centralized shipping bar coded labeling systems, clean room molding, and production planning using our IBM AS/400 Computer with an integrated manufacturing and financial management system. Our "Plastics Advisor" MRP II system helps insures that delivery commitments are met.

In our climate controlled factory two molding cells utilize technical innovations such as hot manifold systems, valve gating, direct tip and sequential valve controls to produce both large single cavity appliance moldings and small multi-cavity, thin walled products for the medical industry. Real time plant monitoring is managed by the IQwin32 ERP system. SPC production, self monitoring equipment, and robotic material handling work together within a JIT environment. We provide a series of value-added services from engineering; insert molding, inspection, packaging and Kanban delivery.

Engineering Services

AIMET Technologies provides superior engineering services. Our engineering staff will work closely with the customer or client to develop products that exceed expectations while minimizing cost and development time. We use Cadkey, COSMOS (FEA), Moldflow, and Solidworks to create products that will meet and exceed the customers needs while developing a close relationship with our clients.

Assembly / Value Added Services

AIMET Technology’s standout value as a custom molder are the steps we can take for your product after the initial molding process is complete. Not only do we provide a wide variety of value adding operations in the molding process, such as over-molding and multi-material molding, we also will continue to refine your product with complex product assembly, packaging of kits or products. Our facility is staffed and equipped to handle circuit board assembly, bar coding and product labeling, CNC machining, spot welding and ultrasonic insert staking. If necessary we can set up a dedicated cell for your product and design specialized automation machinery to ensure your product is manufactured per your specifications.

Quality

Consistently meeting the close tolerance requirements of our high tech customers is a reflection of the internal quality systems we at AIMET Technologies have in place. We utilize SPC processes in production along with self monitoring and self segregating machinery to ensure that every part coming out of our production cells is within tolerance. Our systems produce Cpk and Ppk numbers up to 1.67. Our Metrology lab has the capability to measure and document all dimensions and features. Our valued added services utilize a system of work instructions that clearly inform our staff the steps required for each unique product. We maintain a history of each tool and recondition each tool at the proper time in their production life. Our modern state-of-the-art, ISO 9001-2008 certified facility is globally cost completive and operates under extreme quality standards.
